About Me
I hope you will indulge me for a moment as I share a little of my own story and how it has brought me to the work I offer today.
Throughout my childhood, dancing was my world. Six days a week, it felt like home. From the age of eleven, though, joint pain from hypermobility became a constant companion. Dismissed by GPs, my mother took me to a pioneering cranial osteopath, Stuart Korth, and to Alan Herdman's Pilates studio - long before such practices were commonplace. I couldn't have known then that these early experiences were quietly teaching me proprioception and interoception. The skills of felt sense and inner awareness that now lie at the core of everything I do. My inner landscape was calling me, and I was unknowingly responding.
I didn't yet know I was neurodivergent. But these embodied approaches helped me navigate childhood in ways I only fully appreciate now. They continue to shape how I work to this day.
After years working at the BBC and raising my four daughters, I retrained as a Dance Movement Psychotherapist in 2012 and subsequently as a Craniosacral Therapist and Breathworker. Movement, the body, the energy system the nervous system became the natural threads of my practice. Without planning it, I found myself specialising in neurodivergence, drawn by an intuitive recognition, and soon surrounded by clients whose nervous systems resonated with my own journey.
My four daughters, all later recognised as neurodivergent and ADHD, have been my greatest teachers. They have shown me again and again the power of sensitivity, creativity and deep connection, and the gifts these qualities bestow when we learn to work with rather than against the nervous system that carries them.
Over the past fifteen years I have continued to train and explore, deepening my psychotherapy practice, studying ADHD coaching and psychedelic integration and training for many years with Kriya Yoga and gifted Qigong masters, Advaita teachers and practitioners of ancient energy medicine traditions. These streams have not remained separate. They have woven themselves together into a coherent way of working that is, at its heart, deeply personal. A culmination of everything the body has been teaching me since I was eleven years old.
The ARC Method is the fullest expression of that path so far.
Perhaps the first programme to bring together the somatic, the energetic and the therapeutic into a single coherent journey, grounded in clinical depth and held with the warmth of someone who has walked this territory herself.
